History of Marymoor Park

Marymoor Park was originally part of the Stossel Homestead, founded in the late 1800s by Mary and Peter Stossel. The homestead served as a dairy farm, fruit orchard, and poultry operation throughout the years. In 1965, King County acquired the property and turned it into a public park.
